ROBERT TAYLOR CEO
Robert is currently the Chief Executive of Kleinwort Benson (since 2004) and in addition, is a board member of Dresdner Bank Dubai Ltd. Previously, he spent five years with Coutts & Co., the final three as Head of Private Banking; two years as Managing Director of SG Hambros Bank & Trust (London) and seven years at Merrill Lynch International Bank where he first qualified as a Financial Consultant. Robert was educated in the United States and received a Masters Degree in Journalism from ColumbiaUniversity and a Bachelors Degree in International Affairs from Lewis & ClarkCollege.
In addition to his financial services work, Robert has involved himself in contemporary art in Britain both as a collector and also as a trustee for several major arts institutions. Previously he had served on the Tate Patrons Acquisitions Committee and was a judge of the 2004 Turner Prize.
MARK HUSSEIN
SANDRA PLATTS
Sandra has worked for Kleinwort Benson in the Channel Islands since 1986, having previously started her finance career with the Lloyds Bank Group in Jersey.
In the early part of her career at Kleinwort Benson, Sandra ran the Securities Department within Jersey. Very soon after having started that role, Sandra undertook a five-year Management Training Programme, which covered management responsibility through all client and support functions throughout the Bank. This culminated in Sandra being appointed the first female Director for Kleinwort Benson and undertaking the role of General Manager - Business Administration in Jersey.
Sandra currently holds the role of Managing Director for the Guernsey Branch and Chief Operating Office for the CI and UK business.
She has Masters in Business Administration and is a member of the Securities and Investment Institute.
ANGUS TAYLOR
Angus Taylor, Managing Director of Kleinwort Benson (Channel Islands) Limited and other C.I. Group companies, a Director (Deputy Chief Executive of Kleinwort Benson Private Bank, Kleinwort Benson (CI) Holdings Limited and member of Kleinwort Benson Group Regional Executive Committee. He joined Kleinwort Benson in 1983 and has experience in trust, investment, banking and operations.
Angus has held various senior management posts with Kleinwort Benson in the Channel Islands and London. He is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (formerly Chartered Institute of Bankers), a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute and has an MBA (Financial Services) from SheffieldHallamUniversity.
